Coming up around the corner is a phenomenal literary festival dedicated to midwestern literary feats. From June 1st to June 3rd, Milwaukee will host an eclectic series of reading events, panel discussions, performances, a spelling B, gallery shows and a book fair. In addition, and perhaps in keeping with midwestern hospitality, there is a list of resources — to stay, eat and (possibly) couch surf supplied by the organizers. In the following interview with Edwin R. Perry, I asked him how the festival came about and what it will contain.
