Buy issue # 12

In Chicago, we are surrounded by buildings that define what it means to be a building. This can be inspiring as well as stifling. For the 12th issue of MAKE, we wanted to explore how building can be both a noun and a verb, a passive object and a living energy. Because our city, our language, is alive, and because we inhabit it as much as it inhabits us. Here you will find writing that builds and tears down, that clears space for itself and for you, dear reader.
